Hi All - just found your website here. A buddy of mine in currently in Kona with his family. He and a few others were in this blue marlin fishing contest July 9 - 11 (I think). They did not catch a marlin (top prize - 150K). Anyhow, he went out with two of his boys this past Sunday (18th) and he caught a 905lb blue that measured 169 inches - this was with a good portion of it's spear thing busted off. I am not sure if this is average, big or really big or ???
As you can probably tell, I know very little about marlin fishing but I thought you guys would like to know. Once I get some pictures from him I will post some of them for you all to see.
