American Custom Yachts seeking to fill positions immediately to accommodate two major new build projects

Stuart, FL – January 11, 2010 – Martin County custom boat builder American Custom Yachts plans to bring as many as 40 new jobs to Martin County to accommodate two large yacht construction projects underway at its 63-acre Stuart facility. The company is actively recruiting experienced marine carpenters, cabinet makers, welders, fabricators, pipefitters, electricians, and mechanics, as well as fiberglass and paint technicians to complete the construction of a 90-foot custom sport fishing yacht and a 158-foot aluminum long range expedition yacht.

“Thanks to our expansion over the past few years, we are now able to take on projects of this caliber,” said American Custom Yachts President Dominick LaCombe. “We’re fortunate to have two large vessels underway at this time. This is definitely going to be a boost to the economy of Martin County.”

Interested parties can download applications and submit resumes to www.AmericanCustomYacts.com, or pick up an application at the facility’s guard gate at 6800 S.W. Jack James Drive.
